- Gold occurrence in tourmaline-quartz veins
Gold occurrence 4 km north of Ylöjärvi, in subvertical tourmaline-quartz veins at the contact of the synorogenic Hämeenkyrö batholith and the metavolcanic rocks; high prospector grades not reproduced (below 0.3 g/t by GTK). Possibly linked to the Ylöjärvi breccia according to the authors. Talikka and Vuori (2010): tourmaline near -9.3 ‰.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| −9.3 ± 0.1 ‰ | −9.3 / −9.2 ‰ | 2 | tourmaline of a quartz-tourmaline vein (schorl) Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 2 analyses, -9.3 to -9.2 (T9 -9.3; T9 -9.2). The abstract groups Lepomäki with Ylöjärvi between -9.6 and -8.7 ‰ and speaks of a lighter composition, whereas these two samples are the heaviest of the study. | Talikka & Vuori (2010), Geochemical and boron isotopic compositions of tourmalines from s… |
