Armenian copper deposit sampled by the Institute of Geological Sciences of the Armenian Academy; age and type from Table 3 of Meliksetyan and Pernicka (2010): Middle to Late Eocene. Deposit not located: the place cited in the source could not be tied to reliable coordinates.

206Pb/204Pb isotope ratio, no unit Values of the same system

Standard : NIST SRM 981

ValueRangenMineral or matrixSource
18.7272 ± 0.172118.5718 / 18.89924copper ore (chalcopyrite, malachite, azurite)
Mean and standard deviation recalculated from 4 samples, Table 6 (FG-010097, FG-020514, FG-020515, FG-020704), read from the page image. The only Armenian deposit where Early Bronze Age ore extraction and dressing is proven by archaeology (ancient pits and burrows, settlement of the final Kura-Araxes culture, 26th-22nd century BC). Some samples from this deposit have negative model ages (the authors' "radiogenic" lead).
