Type
Granite-related disseminated and stockwork scheelite, metamorphosed

Scheelite deposit in the lower magmatic sequence of the Habach Complex, in the central Tauern Window, with an eastern and a western ore field. Mineralisation attributed to the intrusion of the K1-K3 metagranitoid (about 338 to 340 Ma), then recrystallised by regional metamorphism (Scheelite 3). Highly radiogenic scheelite strontium: 87Sr supplied by host-rock micas. 8 km south of Mittersill. Indicative coordinates.
