Type
Sn-W-Be veins and skarns

Polymetallic deposit of the Cuonadong gneiss dome (400 km²) in the Himalayan leucogranite belt; four areas (Xianglin, Dongjie, Rina, Changming), Xianglin with the largest inferred resources, with hydrothermal Sn-W-Be veins in gneiss and W-Sn-Be skarns at the marble contact. Distinct from the Cuona deposit of Basu County. Xie et al. (2023): vein tourmaline from -13.7 to -13.2 ‰ (exsolved magmatic fluid), skarn tourmaline from -11.1 to -9.3 ‰ (boron partly from the host marbles, about 30 %).
