Sheeted quartz-ferberite vein complex in Lower Paleozoic shales and sandstones, within a 3250 m by 1000 m sericite-tourmaline alteration zone, 170 km south-east of La Paz, on the same lineament as Kami and Amutara; maximum age 26.1 Ma (K-Ar). No igneous rock exposed. Hypersaline fluids (17 to 48 wt% NaCl eq. in the main stage, 335 to 530 °C) and magmatic up to the late siderite stage, without significant meteoric input. Coordinates estimated within Inquisivi Province. Indicative coordinates.
