- Extension veins with fibrous stibnite in black shales
Extension veins with fibrous stibnite hosted by Lower Carboniferous black shales, at the northern margin of the Schiefergebirge (Variscan foredeep). Very unradiogenic stibnite (206Pb/204Pb 18.058), less than galena of the Variscan Pb-Zn veins: contribution of a local low-U/Pb and Th/Pb source according to the authors. Pb from Wagner and Schneider (2002): late-Variscan mesothermal antimony mineralisation, either as quartz-stibnite veins (fibrous quartz, stibnite and Pb-Sb sulfosalts) or as Cu-Pb-Sb sulfosalts replacing earlier Pb-Zn veins. Coordinates not published (schematic map only).
