- Type
- W-Sn quartz veins
W-Sn deposit of the Qiman Tagh belt (Baiganhu orefield), in the Xiaomiao Formation (quartzites, marbles, schists) northwest of the Baiganhu fault, around early Paleozoic monzogranites; ore in quartz veins, greisens and skarns, four stages, the first with wolframite, cassiterite, tourmaline and muscovite. 126 quartz veins; reserve of 1.5 × 10^4 t WO3 and 0.1 × 10^4 t Sn. Zheng et al. (2019): vein tourmaline from -11.0 to -9.6 ‰ and tourmalinite tourmaline from -11.1 to -7.1 ‰, common granitic source, little fractionation.
