- Type
- Greisens, skarns and quartz-tourmaline veins (W-Sn)
Deposit of the Baiganhu W-Sn belt (with Bashierxi and Kekekaerde), hosted by the Mesoproterozoic Xiaomiao Formation at the contact of small monzogranite stocks; six greisen and two skarn orebodies, quartz-tourmaline veins (mean WO3 0.12 %). Regional monzogranites dated at 428 ± 4 and 422 ± 2 Ma. Zheng et al. (2016): tourmaline from -12.9 to -7.9 ‰, magmatic-hydrothermal boron partly inherited from Mesoproterozoic metapelites.
