A silver-tin deposit rich in antimony, mined for over 400 years in Tertiary dacites and rhyolites of the Oruro volcanic complex. Antimony is carried by sulfosalts (tetrahedrite, pyrargyrite, boulangerite, andorite). Its gallery discharges one of the most antimony-rich acid mine drainages in the world.
